The album is being chopped in half. We didn't want to force a 70+ minute album on people who haven't heard us yet, and we didn't want it to take forever for people to finally hear us (not that it hasn't already been forever). In late February or March we're going into the studio to record a 6 track EP. It should be roughly 30-35 minutes long. When the time comes I'll post small studio updates, and then when the time comes, some more information about the EP. I had everything planned out: Artwork, track listing, CD title etc. Now that we've changed some things up a bit there's still stuff to figure out. Helder will still be doing the artwork though. It may just be a studio album, and the possibility of playing shows at this point are up in the air. The record will consist of 10 tracks. It'll be ambient, heavy, progressive, dark, light, sad, happy, and more. It'll be titled <span style="font-style: italic;">Oceans and Stars</span>, and its main theme will be nostalgia, with several underlying themes and ideas tying to it. It's going to take a long time to finish. Three different songs are being worked on at the moment and ideas are for the most part written and planned out for the final seven.<br /><br />We are currently working on a song called 'Blackholes', which will occupy six minutes of the middle section of the record, which will reach nearly 70 minutes. In August/September we are going to focus on getting a demo up for people to hear while we continue writing.
